Neurodesign

At 2020 Furniture Design, we believe that furniture should support not only functionality but also human wellbeing. Our approach to neurodesign and human-centred design focuses on how people experience spaces physically, emotionally, and cognitively. By understanding how environments influence mood, comfort, and concentration, we aim to create interiors that feel intuitive and balanced.

Thoughtful proportions, natural materials, and carefully considered forms help create spaces that support calmness, focus, and everyday comfort. Furniture should respond to the way people move, work, rest, and interact with their surroundings. When design aligns with human needs, spaces become more comfortable and more meaningful to use.

Human-centred design also means flexibility. Furniture should adapt to different activities and changing environments, supporting both individual wellbeing and collaborative spaces. By placing people at the center of the design process, we create furniture that improves the experience of everyday living and working.
