2020 Furniture Design delivered a contemporary workspace solution for a professional office in Birmingham, designed to introduce privacy, flexibility, and comfort into a modern open-plan environment. At the heart of the project was the installation of Solus enclosed work booths, providing employees with dedicated spaces for focused work, video calls, and confidential conversations.
The workspace was carefully designed to balance functionality with visual impact. The introduction of private work booths allows employees to step away from the open office when concentration or privacy is required. To enhance the overall aesthetic, vibrant blue fabrics from Camira were selected, introducing a bold colour accent that energises the space while maintaining a clean, contemporary look. A breakout area was also incorporated into the layout, offering a flexible setting for informal meetings, independent work, or quiet moments away from the main workspace.
The finished workspace successfully integrates privacy, design, and flexibility. Solus work booths provide practical acoustic solutions within the office, while the use of strong colour and carefully planned spaces creates an environment that is both functional and visually engaging. The result is a modern workplace that supports productivity, encourages focus, and enhances the everyday experience of employees.
