MAST seating forms the focal point of a contemporary breakout space within a modern workplace in Worcester. Designed to support informal meetings, collaboration and moments of focused work, the installation introduces a welcoming social hub within the office environment. Positioned against a vibrant green wall and framed by warm timber ceiling elements, the booths create a comfortable semi-private setting that encourages conversation while remaining visually connected to the wider space. The seating brings both structure and softness to the interior, helping define an area dedicated to interaction and collaboration.
The design approach centred on creating a flexible and inviting meeting environment that complements the surrounding architecture. The clean geometry of the MAST seating echoes the rhythm of the timber ceiling above, establishing a cohesive visual language across the space. A balanced palette of materials and colours introduces contrast while maintaining a calm and refined aesthetic. The seating features Camira Vita Sapphire upholstery for the seat, paired with Camira Mainline Flax Newbury on the backrest, creating a subtle contrast in tone and texture. The composition is completed with a black MFC trim, adding definition and reinforcing the contemporary character of the installation. Integrated tables transform the booths into practical meeting points, supporting quick conversations, informal catch-ups and focused one-to-one discussions throughout the day.
The result is a dynamic breakout area that enhances the overall workplace experience. MAST seating provides comfortable, semi-private environments for interaction while contributing a strong architectural presence within the interior. The installation supports a more relaxed, collaborative way of working and encourages employees to connect within the shared space.
